Our story

A small spa with a
careful reputation.

Paramount Spa sits on Lakeside Road between blocks 15 and 16 — a few quiet minutes from Atithi Resort, Temple Tree and Hotel Barahi. We opened with one idea: that the right massage, in a clean room, at a fair price, is one of the best things a tired body can ask for.

Most of the people who come through our door are walking off a trek. Annapurna Base Camp. Poon Hill. Mardi Himal. They arrive with stiff calves, sun-cracked shoulders and a request that comes up again and again: a little firmer, please. Our therapists know that conversation. They will adjust pressure as they go, offer the sauna and steam if your muscles need more heat, and finish you in the hot shower so you walk back out into the evening warm and unhurried.

We are open every day, 9 in the morning until 10 at night, and we welcome walk-ins as readily as bookings. The 4.9 stars and 629 reviews on Google are the work of one returning guest after another. We try to earn each one.

Skilled, attentive therapists

Our team adjusts pressure to your feedback. If something is too firm or not firm enough, just say so — that conversation is part of the work.

Sauna, steam & hot shower

Few spas on Lakeside offer all three under one roof. Use them as a warm-up before your session or as a slow exit after.

Clean, quiet rooms

Fresh linens for every guest. Calm lighting. The kind of room where 90 minutes goes by without you noticing.

Walk-in friendly

Booked or not, drop in. Lakeside between blocks 15 and 16, two minutes from the major hotels. Open every day, 9 AM to 10 PM.

After your trek

Came down from Annapurna?
Your legs know what to do next.

ABC, Poon Hill, Mardi Himal, Khopra, Mohare Danda — most of the trekking circuits in Nepal end with a slow descent into Pokhara, and most of those descents end at Lakeside. Walk in tomorrow morning, walk out in the early afternoon, and the rest of your week in town will feel like a different trip.

Inside the spa

Quiet rooms.
Warm light.

Reception, the entry stairwell, the relax lounge and the treatment rooms. The kind of place reviewers describe as peaceful — a word we don’t take for granted.

I visited Paramount Spa in Pokhara after returning from the Annapurna Base Camp trek, and it was a wonderful experience. The team is highly professional, and their services are both effective and budget-friendly. The hot shower after the massage adds extra comfort, and the rooms are well-decorated, peaceful and pleasant.

I’ve visited this spa multiple times because it is truly one of the best in Pokhara. I got the deep tissue massage and the pressure was perfect — my body noticeably had less pain and tension afterwards. The space is very clean and the masseuses are skilled and professional.

After living in Thailand for a few years I think you can trust me when I say this hits the spot. Very capable and accommodating — adjusting pressure based on my reaction. Caring owners too. Strongly recommended.
Sa Da Compared to Thai spas
Very clean and professional massage spa on the Lakeside Main Street. They also have sauna and steam. I would visit again, especially after trekking.
